What
New Zealand lacks in wildlife, they make up for in geology. Throughout
the country, bizarre rock formations and geothermal areas abound. This
fascinating rock formation is made of layers on layers of sandstone and
mudstone, eroded by the sea in grooved parallel formations. An easy walk
from the parking lot, not to be missed.
