		New ice forming on the Eagle River, Alaska December, 1996
		This image was taken on an early December morning, when the temperature was minus twenty (-20°) farenheit. Despite the chilly temperatures, moving water is slow to freeze. It took several days for the ice to completely cover the river's surface.
