Diver hovering with thousands of fish next to the kingmast of the Shinkoku Maru shipwreck. Truk Lagoon, Chuuk, Micronesia, 2008

Another iconic scuba diving image from Truk Lagoon. DIvers will use the coral encrusted structures that rise up from the wrecks to give them something to examine as they ascend slowly toward the surface. Often there are interesting creatures hiding among the corals, sponges, and hydroids covering every square inch of these structures.
