Maru shipwreck.
Truk
Lagoon, Chuuk, Micronesia, 2008
This
ship's mast serves as excellent structure for schooling fish to agrregate
on. Often divers will use vertical structures as a visual reference when
ascending slowly. Masts and other superstructures are usually completely
encrusted with marine life such as corals and sponges on these wrecks.
