Scuba diver exploring the bridge of the Nippo Maru, Truk Lagoon, Chuuk, Micronesia, 2008

Here we see the wheelhouse of the Nippo Maru shipwreck, complete with the engine telegraph on the right and the ship's wheel on the left. All of the wooden parts disintegrated long ago, like the spokes on the wheel, and the decking. Only the metal parts remain, encrusted with sponge and coralline algae.
