I took this image while shooting a cover assignment for a Hawaiil visitors magazine. The guys are a club sponsored by the Four Seasons Resort in Kona, and were practicing the technique of surfing a wave with the outrigger canoe.
Canoe paddling is a huge sport here, and the clubs cater to all levels of ability.
